The new and exciting trailer for Koichi Sakamoto’s new film, Ninja Vs. Shark, has slashed and chomped its way onto the internet!
“In the Edo period, at the remote village of Okitsu, the evil cult leader Koushirou uses ninjutsu to ensorcel sharks and forces them to attack local pearl divers so the cult can steal the pearls from their mangled corpses. Desperate for help, the village chief hires Kotaro Shiozaki, a guard at a nearby temple, but Kotaro soon finds his path blocked by lady ninja Kikuma, and a gigantic shark that doesn’t seem like something from this world.”
Sakamoto is perhaps best known for his long, stacked resume of tokusatsu directing, which includes select episodes of Kamen Rider (Geats, Revice, Fourze), Ultraman (Z, Geed, Decker), and Super Sentai (Gokaiger, Kyoryuger, Kiramager). This article has only named 3 examples of each major toku franchise Sakamoto-San has worked on, but the list is endless!
