One of our favorite things to do at Kaiju United is to highlight the talented artists and creators in our community. This week, it’s Colossal Conqueror, written and illustrated by Tyler Sowles!
“Taryn Tolomka can’t stand corporations that threaten the health of the planet and has the scars to show it. When a mysterious chemical compound floods the ashfall badlands near her protest, it gives birth to a colossal problem. Enter Ganogwa, a huge dinosaur-like monster that erupts from the fossil-laden earth. Not long after the creature’s appearance, other giant mutations begin to arise, with chaos and mayhem in their wake. Violent combat seems inevitable. Taryn develops her own enigmatic problems that worries her friends. Can she discover the truth behind the monster’s genesis (and her own condition) before it’s too late?”
Tyler updates Colossal Conqueror online as a free-to-view webcomic, providing enjoyment for kaiju fans with an accessible, professional, and beautiful comic book to devour. We highly recommend Tyler’s wonderful art and great writing, and it’s a must for anyone looking at great kaiju comic content, and especially those that love to support independent artists and creators! Tyler does this comic for fun and for the community, which is no easy feat, but the love and passion he has for Colossal Conqueror shines through on each and every page.
Adding to the awesome monster action, Tyler also does fun crossover art on the Colossal Conqueror Facebook page, pitting Ganogwa against another monster from another series every week! If you love cool monster art, definitely give Colossal Conqueor and Tyler a follow!
Stay tuned for our upcoming interview with Tyler, happening on Kaiju United!
