Community Interview: Autistic Lizard Productions

The kaiju YouTube community is full of wonderful people speaking passionately about the films they enjoy. Several of these (we’ll call them K-Tubers), gather together in vlog or video podcast format to talk about their hobbies, interests, the state of the community, and whatever they are feeling at the current time. I had previous experience with the kaiju YouTube/vlog scene being a featured guest on Donny Winter’s show, Growing up with Godzilla, which is now featured on our site, but I also took the time to sit down with Brendan Morley! Brendan runs Autistic Lizard Productions, a podcast channel that has been going through every Godzilla film (yes, all thirty of them!) in order, with a special guest on each episode. From his YouTube friends, such as Gojifan1998, to even having Linda Miller, star of King Kong Escapes (1967) on for her respective movie, Brendan is truly moving the needle for community efforts in the world of podcasting.

His newest episode, covering 1995’s Godzilla Vs. Destoroyah will premiere live, May 25th, at 8pm CST!

With new equipment and software in the Kaiju United arsenal, I decided to do a full video interview with Brendan, in the style of his broadcasts. You can check it out below.
