The Frida Cinema, an iconic film house based in Orange County, has announced a special screening and Q&A session for The Guyver 2! This past year, Frida hosted a Godzilla marathon of films, as previously covered on Kaiju United. This time, it’s a cult favorite starring DAVID HAYTER, best known for his career in voice acting, being the voice of Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Solid series, and also his screenwriting career, having penned 2000’s X-Men. Sci-fi’s most powerful alien-human hybrid returns! Join Nostalgic Nebula on February 2nd at The Frida Cinema for a RARE screening of Steve Wang’s The Guyver 2: Darkhero, followed by a post-screening Q&A with the cast and crew.
Starring legendary voice actor and screenwriter David Hayter, Guyver 2 follows Sean Baker one year after he defeated the diabolical Chronos Corporation with the help of the Guyver bio-weapon suit that has become a part of his very being. Exhausted from the mental and physical effects of the Guyver, Sean investigates an archaeological site in Utah which may contain clues to the origins of the Guyver and humanity itself.
