ANNOUNCEMENT: KAIJU UNITED STAFF GROWS

The folks at Kaiju United are thrilled to announce the addition of Nick Crispino to our roster of staff members, including Editor-in-Chief Jacob Lyngle and Visual Editor Rachel Kingery. Nick has previously served as a Contributor for the site, providing short form content on our Instagram, interviews with Shin Godzilla production assistant Yoko Higuchi and SciFi Japan writer & film critic Richard Pusateri. Crispino has also been critical in the development of Kaiju United into podcast territory, being a founding and driving force behind Town Hall. He currently runs the fan page “Kaiju Junkie” which has garnered 17,000 followers!

We are beyond excited to add Nick to our roster, as he will serve as an ambassador for KU, help us grow and manage the site, and be an outlet for contributors to come to if they’d like to join us.

Statements from Staff:

Nick has been crucial in the development of the site. I appreciate his attitude, drive, and willingness to support us in any way possible. He has done it all — interviews, videos, panels, written articles, and more to come. His coverage of Kaiju Brooklyn was shared by the individuals behind Ultraman Connection and said coverage was one of the major press documentations of the inaugural event in New York. I am so thrilled that he is joining our board of talented decision-makers. KU is great, but it will be even better with Nick by our side.

-Jacob Lyngle, Editor-in-Chief

I am absolutely elated that Nick will be joining the KU Staff as Senior Editor and Content Creator. Nick is a skilled creator working professionally in the industry and will be bringing so much to the table for Kaiju United. I am ecstatic for everything he has in the pipeline for our community. Welcome, Nick! We are so excited to have you!

-Rachel Kingery, Visual Editor

Here’s what Nick had to say about joining the permanent staff team:

I’m really excited about this opportunity. Contributing to Kaiju United really helped get me out of a creative slump I was in during the first half of 2023. I was posting to my Instagram page like once or twice a week if at all but then I met Jacob at G-Fest then it all changed. When I saw what he was doing with the site I immediately wanted to be a part of it and it’s been a lot of fun. We have big plans for the upcoming year and I’m privileged to be along for the ride.

Thank you, Nick!
