Titan Books to Release English Translation of Nishikawa Art Book

Source: Penguin Random House

For the first time ever, an English translation of famed Godzilla conceptual artist and illustrator, Shinji Nishikawa, will be available to fans in the United States! For those that are unaware, Mr. Nishikawa did the concept art for every major Godzilla film, starting in 1989 with Godzilla Vs. Biollante, and culminating with 2004’s Godzilla: Final Wars. He makes frequent convention appearances in the US, courtesy of Celebrity ICONS.

The book, released in Japan as Godzilla Great Anatomical Picture Book, appears to be undergoing a title change for English readers. Potentially, it seems to be The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Godzilla with the tagline Shinji Nishikawa unravels the depths of Godzilla”.

Though details are currently sparce, an advance cover with the note “final cover to be revealed” has been listed on the Penguin Random House website. Pre-orders are open to most major booksellers, including Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, Books A Million, and even outlets like Target and Walmart!
