“My name is Tyler Sowles and I’ve been drawing all my life. An early passion for monsters and dinosaurs got me hooked on sci-fi, fantasy and comic books at an early age.
I decided to pursue my love of doodling and went to Kendall College of Art and Design, majoring in illustration. After graduating in 2009, I went on to co-own Killustration Studios LLC, a small freelance art and freelance business. Commissioned artwork became more than a hobby, then, and became a career. Forming a niche around giant monsters, I started drawing comics for small press and indie publishers, which brings me to today.
I’m still following that same passion I had as a kid. In fact, I feel like I draw and do what I do for him, the 10 year old in me. “
