Fresh off of the hot success of their Gorgo figure, Titanic Creations, LLC has given Kaiju United the full details on their newest creation — Yongary! This articulated figure will perfectly encapsulate the iconic Korean kaiju in a way never seen before, with beautiful fire breath effects, and if enough sell, building dioramas! Titanic Creations continues to give us figures of monsters that we’ve always dreamed of having on our shelves, and this one looks to be a megastar!
Regarding the figure, TC states, “Titanic Creations, LLC is proud to bring you Yongary from the 1967 film Yongary, Monster from the Deep! For the first time, this classic Korean kaiju is being brought to life in stunning detail and is completely articulated. Along with this, Titanic Creations will include over 15 accessories to bring the figure to life on collectors’ shelves.”
“Yongary is a treasure of a kaiju, and we are so happy to bring this monster to collectors in a proper way finally,” said Mac McClintock, President and Founder of Titanic Creations. “With the help of our dedicated fan base we believe that we will quickly hit our stretch goals of 800 orders and produce what we believe will be one of the greatest kaiju figures ever made!” For this project, Titanic Creations has partnered with the most sought-after talent in the kaiju community. The first is Dopepope, who has sculpted kaiju for X-Plus, Mezco, and several other brands. His amazing sculpture brings Yongary to life in ways previously unimaginable.
Along with Dopepope, Titanic Creations has enlisted famous kaiju artist Matt Frank to illustrate a beautiful see-through box that pays homage to the film and, at the same time, breathes new life into this beloved character.
Titanic Creations is using a crowd-funding model for this figure. The goal of this model is that the better Titanic Creations does, the more the consumer gets! Below are the stretch goals for the Yongary figure:
