MAP AND THE BRIGHT HUMANS BRINGS THE MUSIC TO KAIJU BROOKLYN 2

Alt-Pop Musician pays Tokusatsu tribute with original single and curated live music

Alternative Pop Music artist Map and the Bright Humans (MTBH) will be bringing the music to Kaiju Brooklyn 2 this year with exclusively curated DJ sets and an hour long live performance. With a direct heritage of Kaiju culture and a variety musical influences, MTBH will bring a fresh, yet nostalgic sound to the convention, directly paying tribute to the music and messages of Tokusatsu’s various franchises from the 50’s through to today. 

May 31st will be the night of the official kick-off party, hosted at Brooklyn Kura, where the ULTRA theme will carry over into the party vibe, mixing dance beats with your favorite tracks from the franchise’s massive musical history before the transition over to exclusive film screening. 

June 1st, on the official convention day, there will be an exclusive Tokusatsu inspired live performance, continuing the celebration of Kaiju music, where MTBH will perform an eclectic mix of original material and covers of some of the biggest tracks from and inspired each of the major Tokusatsu franchises. 

Later on in the evening, come hang at the after-party at Barrows Intense NY Tasting Room, where we can celebrate our time at the convention and continue the party into a new month and a new season. 

To commemorate the occasion, the release of an exclusive tie-in single will be released on the 31st, entitled ULTRA BLAST!!!, which is directly inspired by the biggest running Tokusatsu franchise in the world.  The single will be released on all streaming platforms and will be a way to commemorate another year of adventure and light.

Map and The Bright Humans is an Alt-Pop Artist and Musician based in New Jersey and New York City. He is finishing work on his debut album and will be releasing a new single this month.
