Teaser for ‘Alien: Earth’ is Now Online in Highest Quality Possible

Select Regal Cinemas attendees at screenings of Alien: Romulus got to catch a glimpse at the upcoming FX series featuring the iconic Xenomorph before the film began. For a few weeks, fans were left with the question of when it would be available on online. Today, it is now officially available on the FX Networks YouTube channel in the highest quality possible. The show is set for a tentative 2025 release exclusively on Hulu, with Noah Hawley (‘Fargo’, ‘Legion’) serving as showrunner.

The show’s synopsis on the official website states:

“When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat in FX’s highly anticipated TV series Alien: Earth from creator Noah Hawley. FX’s Alien: Earth original series coming in 2025, only on Hulu.”

The series stars “an expansive international cast”, including Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille and Moe Bar-El.\

Reportedly, the show takes place 30 years before the original 1979 Alien, putting it around the year 2092, and interestingly, around the same time that Ridley Scott’s Prometheus takes place.
