The Asylum’s ‘The Land That Time Forgot’ Debuts on VOD, Theatrical Screenings Confirmed

Exclusively revealed by Comingsoon.net, The Asylum, the king of the Mockbuster, has unveiled their trailer for their latest film, The Land That Time Forgot. Interestingly, this is their second adaptation of the classic novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs, with a previous 2009 adaptation being released. To clarify, however, the two films are not connected in any shape or form. In the film, “Present day survivors of a sunken naval vessel capture a Russian sub, only to find themselves stranded on an island filled with deadly, prehistoric creatures.”

B-movie enthusiasts can watch the film on VOD starting today (January 24), with select theatrical screenings being confirmed as well. The film stars Michael Paré, Jack Pearson, and Lauren Koopowitz, with a screenplay by Dan Telfer. Anthony Firth serves as director for the project. Check out the list of theaters below, as well as the attached trailer for the film.
