‘Bullet Train Explosion’ Trailer Brings the Boom!

Shinji Higuchi’s remake of Toei’s 1975 tokusatsu classic is inbound!

On March 4th, 2025, Netflix released a new trailer for the upcoming Bullet Train Explosion full of plenty of highly suspenseful thrills and action, starring Tsuyoshi Kusanagi as Conductor Takaichi, who must get to the bottom of the hijacking of a train that is set to get blown sky-high if it travels below 100 km/h. Fun Fact: Those familiar with Higuchi’s filmography may recall this same music track being used in the trailer for Attack on Titan (2015).

Additionally, Netflix unveiled an official poster for the film, as well as details on the main cast!

Bullet Train Explosion will release April 23rd, 2025 on Netflix.
