‘Gamera – Rebirth – : Code Thyrsos’ To Receive Translated Release From Titan Manga

The year-long celebration of Gamera’s 60th Birthday continues! Gamera – Rebirth – : Code Thyrsos, the prequel to Gamera: Rebirth will be receiving a physical release in the United States via Titan Manga. Although it is true that this manga has been released in English, this is the first time it’s been physically available. Set 100,000 years before the anime series, Code Thyrsos sees a young boy swear revenge after being permanently scarred by a Kaiju attack, with the giant monsters in this timeline being artificial creations to benefit society’s elite. The art was by Cambria Bakuhatsu Taro and the story done in-house by Kadokawa. The manga is set to release Nov 25, 2025, and is a very budget-friendly $12.99 at retail.

The story follows a boy named Lucius, who is left scarred and vengeful after witnessing the death of his father in one of these brutal conflicts. As the kingdom’s experiments lead to the creation of Gamera, a fire-breathing turtle with immense power, Lucius vows to dismantle the aristocracy and destroy the source of these monstrous creations.

With stunning artwork by Cambria Bakuhatsu Taro, this manga blends action, drama, and sci-fi, taking readers deep into the heart of ancient technology, kaiju warfare, and revenge.
