Kaiju Brooklyn is back and bigger than ever!
After a tremendously successful iteration last year, the Industry City-based event is exploding for its third year, this time bringing in some beloved special guests, even more vendors, and thrice the fun! Starting in 2023 as a small, community-oriented grassroots event, KB has grown into the premiere east coast celebration of all things giant monsters, henshin heroes, and Japanese pop culture. This upcoming event – May 31 & June 1 of this year – will be one Kaiju fans of all ages won’t want to miss, featuring over 70 vendors & artists, five incredible special guests, and more! This year, Kaiju Brooklyn is pulling out all the stops to celebrate its third convention.
The weekend will also feature the North American premiere screening of the highly anticipated Ultraman Arc movie, giving fans an exclusive first look at the next chapter in the Ultraman legacy. Throughout both days, fans can dive deeper into the genre through a robust lineup of live panels hosted at the bkONE: Tom Kane Theatre, with Q&A sessions offering behind-the-scenes access to actors, creators, effects artists, and cultural experts.
Kaiju Brooklyn founder John Bellotti Jr. remarked upon the convention’s locale and return to Industry City, stating, “Brooklyn has always been home to the bold and the brave. We’re thrilled to bring together a community that celebrates the imagination, art, and cinematic legacy of giant monsters.”
“Kaiju Brooklyn is a prime example of what makes Brooklyn’s arts scene so electric,” added Anthony Marino, Artistic Director of brooklynONE productions. “We’re honored to help bring this wild, joyous, stomping celebration of fandom to life in the heart of Industry City.”
KU has been provided the full rundown of what to expect at next month’s show, including every single vendor, guest, and attraction you can experience.
