Exclusive: ‘H010N’ to Make North American Premiere at G-FEST 2025 Film Festival

Special Thanks to Avery Guerra, Jeff Horne, and G-FEST.

The first major title to screen at the 2025 G-FEST Film Festival has been announced, and it’s a wild one! The crazy, dream-like feature film H010N (which was previously dubbed “a combination of circuits, katanas, and mecha”) will be making its North American Premiere exclusively at this year’s iteration of the beloved festival. Previously making its World Premiere at the Torino Underground Cinefest last fall and screening at the FiPiLi Horror Festival in Tuscany, this is a rare opportunity for indie film fanatics and anime/toku enthusiasts alike to see this Italian/American co-production that gives off a fun hybrid of Robotjox and Tetsuo.

In the film, “A woman wakes up in a room, remembering nothing of her past. All she knows is that she’s in there by choice, and she’s a citizen of the Chinese UK, the capital of the newborn Eurasia. Her entire life is driven by rules to follow and actions to take, but not all political systems are perfect. A whirlwind of nightmarish events will unveil a flaw that births disturbing truths.”

Director/Screenwriter Luca Canale Brucculeri also remarked upon the film’s inspirations, telling Sci-Fi Japan, “The film is totally inspired by my childhood, the Casshan VHS that I watched as a child in the afternoons after school at my grandparents’ house. He also added, “H010N is basically a memory in adult age, the film that I would have found in video library and consume with repeated visions. There is a lot of me but also the Tokusatsu gene that I love: from Super Sentai to Kamen Rider, up to the series Metal Heroes. The film is my game as a child in age adult.”

The film stars Alessia Spanu, Paolo Mazzini, Riccardo Fiorio, Micol Damilano, Stefano Marando, Davide Daluiso, Simona Sandri, Roberta Pipoli, Yanka De Oliveira Pena, and Francesco Mattia Vagnati. Director Luca Canale Brucculeri also wrote the screenplay, with Graziano Molteni, Luca Canale Brucculeri, Juan Rolando, Paolo Mazzini, Sergio Luca Loreni, Maurizio Corigliano, and Alessia Spanu serving as Producers.

Additional details, including what time the screening will be held, will be announced at a later date. Check out the trailer below in the meantime.
