How do you make dinosaurs cooler? Stick laser beams on them, of course. How do you make THAT idea even wilder? Put them in a Squid Games-esque showdown for the amusement of the wealthy and the detriment to anyone who dares puts on a VR headset, and you’ve got yourself a movie! In The Jurassic Games, strap on in, watch out for laser raptors and other ferocious threats, as you enter the most popular (and dangerous) game show in the far future…

KU is happy to announce that the sequel to the fun 2018 prehistoric romp, The Jurassic Games: Extinction, will be stomping over to the 2025 G-FEST Film Festival for a special screening and packs all kinds of mayhem for fans of dinosaur movies! That’s not all we have to share. As a special treat, the film’s director, Ryan Bellgardt, will be at G-FEST this year attending the screening!

In the film, “In the near future, The Jurassic Games is the most popular television show in the world. Every season, 10 death row inmates play a highly advanced virtual reality game pitting them against ferocious dinosaurs in a fight for survival. This season, new host Joy LaFort (Katie Burgess) is about to make her debut when the game suddenly takes on a life of its own. Filled with dinosaur action, The Jurassic Games: Extinction is the follow-up to 2018’s The Jurassic Games.”
