Indie Tokusatsu Comic ‘NEBULON: KNIGHT OF JUSTICE’ Debuts This September

Kaiju United’s roots began with coverage of the latest and greatest independent Kaiju & Tokusatsu-adjacent comic books that were booming in our community. We take great pride in highlighting these creators, giving them a platform for their hard work and dedication to creating something original in this genre. Some of our favorites include Kaijus & Cowboys, Territory, and Stomped. This September, another comic aims to join the legion of amazing creator-driven stories, when NEBULON: KNIGHT OF JUSTICE debuts on Kickstarter. Kaiju United was provided all the details from TokUSA Studios on what to expect from this grand debut. Read on below, and check out the Kickstarter before it goes live in a few months.

Nebulon: Knight of Justice is a striking, new take on the tokusatsu genre! Blending classic henshin action with a dystopian setting, this series, created by James Santana (Super GroupThe World of Nebulon) and Hunter Van Lierop (Super GroupThe World of Nebulon), promises to appeal to old and new fans of the genre alike.

“I wanted to create something that was inspired by my childhood but appealed to people like me, who are now adult fans of the Toku genre,” said Santana.

Nebulon: Knight of Justice depicts an Earth already conquered by aliens, one young man trying to survive in the aftermath, and a chance encounter that will change the destiny of the world. With richly stylized artwork by Gaspar Flores (The World of Nebulon) and Jack Lenihan (Into the Foundry), Nebulon marks the debut of TokUSA Studios, a creative team determined to carve their own path in the comic book industry.
