East Coast Fans, Get Ready! ULTRAMAN Returns to American Dream This Fall!

Nerdist exclusively revealed today that Tsuburaya Productions is bringing Ultraman back to the United States this fall with an all-new live stage show experience with Ultraman LIVE. The beloved Japanese tokusatsu hero is set to light up the stage once again at American Dream Mall in New Jersey from November 15-23, 2025.

Ultraman stage shows have been a major part of the franchise’s legacy for decades, thrilling fans in Japan and beyond with epic Kaiju battles and larger-than-life heroes. Now, that tradition continues with the Ultraman Hero Premiere 2025, a brand-new production featuring the debut of Ultraman Omega, the latest hero from the new Ultraman Omega series.

In this new show, Earth faces an all-out assault from some of the franchise’s most fearsome kaiju. It’s up to Ultraman Omega and his allies to save the planet using a mix of acrobatics, martial arts, futuristic weapons, and signature beam attacks, all coming together with LED visual effects. Fans will also be treated to several surprise character appearances, including special guest Christopher Sean, the voice of Ken Sato and Ultraman in Netflix’s Ultraman Rising

This isn’t Ultraman’s first time taking center stage at American Dream. Fans might recall the franchise’s 2024 appearance at American Dream, which took place during New York Comic Con. It’s fantastic to see Tsuburaya coming back! Especially for Ultraman’s 60th anniversary just a few months away!

Bandai’s Jeff Gordon shared his excitement:

“Bandai is excited to bring the highly skilled and talented live-action performances from Tsuburaya Productions to US audiences and help fans build a deeper connection with this iconic character. We look forward to supercharging fan excitement for Ultraman and bringing Bandai’s world-class products that will extend the play for fans beyond this event.”

The live show’s timing also aligns with the upcoming English dub streaming debut of Ultraman Omega, making this fall a great time for longtime fans and newcomers. While there’s no official word yet on whether the show will tour other cities or be made available in additional states, hopes are high – especially with this weekend as Tsuburaya will have a major presence at G-FEST, so please stay tuned for more upcoming news!
