A legend that’s haunted sailors for centuries is now swimming to the surface this year to remind us how little we are in the great expanse of the sea!
Starring Sara Khorami, Mikkel Bratt Silset, Ingvild Holthe Bygdnes, Steinar Klouman Hallert and Jenny Evensen, KRAKEN is an upcoming Norwegian monster movie about “a marine biologist studying a local fjord. Her mission takes a dark turn when the untimely death of two teenagers turns this academic study into a terrifying fight for survival against a creature who dwells in the deepest depths of the fjord.”
This absolute monster is brought back to the surface by director Pål Øie, who worked previously on the suspense thriller, THE TUNNEL (2019).
The film will debut in Norway on October 24th of this year, but has since been picked up by Samuel Goldwyn for distribution in the United States, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Stay tuned for the US Release as we learn more!
