Today is retailer day for comic book professionals at New York Comic Con, so there’s bound to be some exciting announcements. Right out the gate, we’ve learned that Godzilla isn’t quite done with Marvel Comics just yet. This afternoon, it has been announced that in February 2026, Marvel Comics will release Godzilla: Infinity Roar, a new five-issue miniseries that sees Godzilla rampage across the galaxy with Knull, the God of the Symbiotes. With these two powerhouses forming an alliance, is there any hope for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes?
The book will pair up writer Gerry Duggan and artist Javier Garrón, known to kaiju fans for their work on Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe together, with Infinity Roar looking to be a sequel to that miniseries based on the official synopsis. The series will also feature art by Ig Guara, known for Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers, various Magic: The Gathering comics, and more.

Marvel’s official plot summary reads:
“The combined forces of Earth’s mightiest heroes managed to spare Earth by exiling Godzilla off into space… but in doing so may have just heralded the end of the larger galaxy! As Knull, the god of the symbiotes fans the flames of Godzilla’s anger, a new campaign for galactic conquest begins with the King of the Monsters and the King in Black at the helm! Will the cosmos be able to band together to stop the two juggernauts, or will a new era of death and destruction descend upon the cosmos? One thing’s for sure, from the Galactic Empire of Wakanda, Shi’ar Empires, Kree-Skrull space and beyond, no planet will be safe as Godzilla destroys the Marvel galaxy!”
