About Ultraman
A 130 foot tall red and silver Giant of Light, Ultraman came to Earth from across the galaxy to protect humanity from invading aliens and giant monsters called Kaiju. Helmed by Tsuburaya Productions, the Ultraman Universe first debuted in 1966 with the launch of the television series Ultra Q. For nearly 60 years, the Ultraman franchise has spawned a record number of TV shows, films, video games and more. Tsuburaya’s partnership with Japan Society spotlight Ultraman’s surging popularity, after taking the U.S. by storm in 2024 with the animated feature film Ultraman: Rising, which landed on Netflix, gaining attention from both legacy fans and new audiences.

Ultraman at American Dream

For even more Ultraman, attendees are encouraged to visit the American Dream for Ultraman events on November 15-16 and 22-23 from Tsuburaya Productions and Bandai Namco.

This incredible event is family friendly, free to attend, and promises lifetime memories that the kaiju fan in your life will never forget. Ultraman is currently expanding in the United States with massive initiatives, collaborations, and special events, with the highly anticipated Ultraman LIVE stage show happening this month on November 15th & 23rd at American Dream in New Jersey, hosted by Ultraman: Rising voice actor Christopher Sean.

The event at Japan Society also coincides with the wide physical media release of Ultraman 4K Discovery by Alliance Home Entertainment, a project that reintroduces the original 1966 series through a high-definition 4K restoration, and is, per Tsuburaya “meticulously crafted to showcase the enduring artistry and universal themes that have cemented Ultraman’s place in global pop culture.”
