Shell Shock!
This evening, Passion Republic Games fully revealed their upcoming Gamera-themed DLC. The kaiju community collectively knew it was clearly the titular character going in due to the initial teasers posted on Passion Republic’s social media channels… but to our surprise, the Friend of All Children will not be alone in the GigaBash Arena! As a celebration of the historic franchise’s 60th Anniversary (and a full circle moment for the kaiju fighting game genre), the ferocious and dangerous Guiron will be joining the beloved turtle monster in the upcoming Gamera: -Rebirth- DLC. Each characters feature their own unique skillsets and moves, bringing the animated characters from the 2023 Netflix series to life!
Gamera emerges to protect those it was made to destroy. Gamera shows that defense and offense go hand-in-hand, with plasma jets to close the distance and flaming projectiles to engage at range. Its thick armored shell ensures no attack gets through. The guardian kaiju is devastating and dangerous at any distance.

Slicing through at lightning speed, Guiron launches into the fray! With unmatched agility, Guiron wields its iconic bladed head to drive destruction into any who stand in the way. Its razor-sharp plasma Scale Shots threaten those who try to escape. This kaiju is a living weapon in name and purpose.

GigaBash – GAMERA -Rebirth- DLC will be available on November 20, 2025, at 7pm PT on all platforms – Steam, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Epic Games Store, and Stove.

About GigaBash
GigaBash is the ultimate Kaiju Fighting Game, where you battle as film-inspired Kaijus and giant Heroes. Hop into Onslaught Mode to challenge against endless waves of enemies and collect perks to help your journey. Some enemies have mutations too, and even Godzilla characters will invade your playthrough. The further you go, the more epic character skins you’ll be rewarded with, which you can show off to friends. In Arcade Mode, face off against 8 random opponents and one Final Boss to get a higher score. Dive into Story Mode and uncover the origins (and misadventures) of the Titans in four unique single-player campaigns.
In Battle Mode, 1-4 players can destroy each other in a variety of fully destructible maps, available Online (with cross-platform matchmaking) or Local Play. Wreak havoc to collect Giga Energy and transform into an S-Class Titan to wreak even more havoc. Mayhem Mode is a casual party game mode filled with wacky minigames for new and veteran players to enjoy together. With multiple game modes for every occasion, GigaBash offers endless opportunities for players to join the fray and rise as king among monsters.
