Ultraman Omnibus Announced, Collecting Complete Marvel Run and Rare 1990s Comics

With the release of the 60th anniversary of Ultraman approaching next year, a major new publishing release has been officially revealed. According to a new listing from Penguin Random House, an Ultraman Omnibus 60th Anniversary edition is set to be released on July 14, 2026, and will offer the definitive, most comprehensive English-language collection of Ultraman Comics to date.

The omnibus will include the entire Marvel Comics run of Ultraman, including:

  1. The Rise of Ultraman (2020)
  2. The Trials of Ultraman (2021)
  3. Ultraman: The Mystery of Ultraseven (2022)
  4. Ultraman x The Avengers (2024)
  5. The Fall of Ultraman (2026)

In addition to the modern Marvel titles, the omnibus will also feature a reprint of the original 1993-1994 Ultraman comics, which have been out of print for decades. Inspired by the story of Ultraman: Towards the Future. These stories were originally published by Nemesis, which includes:

  1. Ultraman (1993) #1-3
  2. Ultraman (1994) #-1 (Negative One), #1-4

While next year will also mark the 30th anniversary of Ultraman Tiga, there’s been no announcement regarding a reprint of his Dark Horse Comics miniseries from 2004. Here’s to hoping!

The Ultraman Omnibus 60th Anniversary carries a retail price of 5 USD, with cover artwork illustrated by Ed McGuinness. Stay tuned for more details on all things Ultraman as we enter the franchise’s 60th Anniversary next year.
