Godzilla Debuts On New Mega Pack of Beer

Pabst Blue Ribbon and the King of the Monsters are teaming up again, this time bringing a limited edition, Kaiju-sized 99 Pack of beer to select retailers to celebrate the post-season. Those looking for an epic tailgating piece or an awesomely unique Godzilla collectible will want to seek this one out, as this new 99 Pack is limited to just 4,000 units! Right off the heels of the massively viral and popular initial PBR collaboration with Toho International, this new 99 Pack wraps 99 Pabst Blue Ribbon cans in a gigantic, all-new original illustration featuring characters from the Godzilla universe, with art by Peter Santa-Maria, known professionally and to the kaiju community as Attack Peter. On this new 99 Pack, Godzilla, Mothra, Mechagodzilla, and King Ghidorah from the beloved franchise appear in an all-new illustration featuring Attack Peter’s signature linoleum block print style.

Artist Attack Peter expressed excitement about returning to do more officially licensed Godzilla art for Pabst Blue Ribbon, stating, “A WHAT pack?? That was my first reaction when the gang at PBR asked me to team up on this design! The 99 pack is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen and I knew they were going to MOVE so I incorporated some designs of the Ghidorah and Mechagodzilla soaring into action! And don’t underestimate the Mothra larva crawling its way onto the package; they’re no strangers to mixing it up with the biggest bads! I’m so stoked with how these PBR packs have become a way for fans across the country to collect my artwork and this 99 pack steps that up in a MASSIVE way!”

“This collaboration represents the intersection of pop culture, art, and lifestyle. Seeing the Godzilla universe come to life across an entire 99 Pack is something we’re incredibly proud of, and it speaks to the brand’s continued evolution,” said Kristin Parcell, General Manager of Toho International. “Working with Pabst Blue Ribbon and ATTACK PETER gave us an opportunity to reimagine how fans engage with Godzilla beyond the screen and we’re excited for fans to experience this original artwork in such a unique way.”

While an exact release date has not been confirmed at this time, it is expected for these 99 Packs to hit store shelves relatively soon, with an early 2026 release window. For those Godzilla fans looking for something a little extra and a great talking piece for this year’s big game party, this might be the collectible (and fun item) that you’ve been looking for.
