Ultraman’s Marvel Comics Saga To Conclude with ‘The Fall of Ultraman’

Tsuburaya Productions, the studio behind Japan’s very own Ultraman, joins Marvel Comics once again to deliver the finale to their groundbreaking five-year saga with The Fall of Ultraman. This one-shot comic, written by longtime collaborators Kyle Higgins and Mat Groom and illustrated by Davide Tinto, arrives in comic shops on February 11, 2026, marking the final chapter in Ultraman’s Marvel era.

After an eventful five years, across dimensions and galaxies, Ultraman and his allies have unraveled vast conspiracies, battled colossal kaiju, and defended entire civilizations from extinction. Now, they’re confronted with a chilling revelation: a vision of the future that points towards the fall of Earth’s greatest hero. As the truth of what lies ahead comes into focus, the fate of Ultraman and the world he has sworn to protect hangs in balance.

What cosmic force could finally bring Ultraman to his knees? Can the United Science Patrol atone for its past failures? And after decades of unseen manipulation, will Earth at last succumb to the dark powers that have been moving against it from the shadows?

Marvel’s journey with Ultraman began in 2020 with The Rise of Ultraman, introducing a bold reimagining that honored the character’s legacy while expanding it on an unprecedented scale. The saga continued through The Trails of Ultraman, Ultraman: The Mystery of Ultraseven, and culminated in last year’s Ultraman X The Avengers. This historic crossover united Ultraman with Marvel’s most iconic heroes.

Now, this new one-shot will bring the franchise into its long-awaited finale, closing one era, redefining a legend, and leaving a legacy that will echo across worlds.

“The Marvel Comics team of Kyle, Mat, and Davide have created an intense and emotional final chapter in their Ultraman saga,” said series Transmedia Producer Jeff Gomez of Starlight Runner Entertainment. “But the story is also a loving homage to the Ultraman universe complete with clever Easter eggs for longtime fans of the franchise.”

The epic final chapter of Ultraman’s Marvel era arrives in comic shops everywhere on February 11, 2026. Don’t miss it!
