Q&A
Who or what is your biggest artistic influence?
Well, a lot of my influence comes from the TV Shows and Movies I watched growing up. The two major ones are probably Batman: The Animated Series and Spectacular Spider-Man.
Outside of Godzilla/Kaiju Media, what else do you enjoy?
This shouldn’t come as a surprise, but I’m a huge Spider-Man fanatic! He’s probably the character that I have drawn the most. Also super into Sonic the Hedgehog.
What’s your favorite kaiju? What made you gravitate towards that one?
My favorite kaiju is Kiryu. It’s interesting to me to have the bones of the original Godzilla inside of Mechagodzilla. The movie itself is also my favorite kaiju film, because it feels like the closest to an Evangelion X Godzilla film.
What are you currently working on?
Lots of things! I’m working on a Godzilla fan trilogy called “Godzilla Incarnate”, a Spider-Man project called “The Marvelous Spider-Man”, and a few original concepts I’ll reveal at a later date! As for art, just character concepts and sketches of the characters that I love, and mentioned above.
