Last post, we took a dive into all of the wonderful and exciting exclusive items that were made available on the official US Godzilla Store in time for the big day. Because there was so much going on, we opted to separate the G-Store items from the rest of the massive announcements that happened all day on November 3rd, highlighting both the Godzilla Store itself as well as various officially licensed merchandise/apparel that fans can enjoy.
Below is a near-complete list of everything that was announced on Godzilla Day, ranging from Super7’s Ultimates Wave 6 to some new upcoming Middle of Beyond items and more! Each item highlights Godzilla’s extensive cinematic legacy, bringing different and unique ways for fans to express their continued love for the franchise.
IDW Games
Previously, there was soft confirmation of IDW venturing back into tabletop games, with a Godzilla-themed one being their first new release. Other than that, thing were kept pretty under wraps until Godzilla Day this year, when Godzilla: The Role-playing Game was announced. Featuring a G-FORCE theme and taking visual ques from the ongoing Kai-Sei run of Godzilla comics by IDW, the game surprisingly forgoes dice, instead opting for a 52-card system to play.

The game was designed by 3 Warhammer alumni: Jervis Johnson, Mark A. Latham, and Gav Thorpe, who have reunited for their first co-created tabletop game. Johnson is best known for his long tenure with Games Workshop, creating the Warhammer football game Blood Bowl, as well as serving as their Strategy Manager. Gav Thorpe has written over forty Warhammer 40k books as well as nearly every codex rule book for the third edition of the game.
Super7
Brian Flynn’s company revealed Wave 6 of their ongoing ULTIMATES line, diving straight into the Millennium Series for two of the figures for the very first time. Alongside an Ultimates Shin Godzilla (4th Form) being announced, fans were also given a first look at Godzilla (2002) and Mechagodzilla (Kiryu) from Godzilla x Mechagodzilla (2002), otherwise known to English audiences as Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla.
Shin Godzilla comes with two alternate heads, one of which emulating the famous and downright terrifying atomic breath sequence featured in the film. Mechagodzilla arrives with just one alternate head, but to make up for it, will include detachable arm guns and shoulder cannons featured in the film. Godzilla (2002) has the most accessories, featuring an alternate head spouting blue atomic breath and two sets of swappable hands, one of which being a clenched fist for some intense kaiju action.

Super7 also revealed a brand-new colorway of their Ultimates SpaceGodzilla figure, emulating the iconic retro “Super Godzilla” design seen in the SNES game of the same name. Although just a repaint, the product photos emulate the classic game’s overall visual vibe, bringing fans as close to a Super Godzilla figure as we’re probably going to get, despite the high amounts of demand from American fans for such a figure to exist. If you’re looking for something on the more cute or fun side of things, the Toho Super Duper Plush line brings Hedorah (1971) and a green version of their Godzilla (1989) to collectors that love something soft and cuddly. Finally, their first wave of ReAction figures got a makeover in a “Retro Tin” edition, brilliantly paying homage to the classic colorways of the Japanese Marusan figures of Baragon and Godzilla.

Mondo
Fan-favorite sofubi and collectibles company Mondo revealed a new color variant of their top-selling SpaceGodzilla vinyl figure. Dubbed “Trendy 2,” the new colorway was designed by Sr. Director of Creative and Product Development Hector Arce, with the colors by Octeel, known for creating the basis for Mondo’s UFO Godzilla figure, a popular and never-before-seen figure in the sofubi market. Priced at $165 and limited to just 250 pieces, this new colorway packs a vibrant red, black, and yellow colorway that will stand brightly amongst your collectibles, and is a great way to obtain a Mondo SpaceGodzilla if you missed the other drops.

Middle of Beyond
Middle of Beyond showcased a Godzilla vs. Destoroyah line of flannels, bandanas, and banners. Featuring a fiery black, orange and red combination, the Burning Godzilla Flannel arrives just in time for the cold weather season. If the brighter, burning colors aren’t your thing, they’ve also got a regular Godzilla Flannel back in stock, featuring a more muted color scheme that evokes the King of the Monsters well. For those looking to accessorize, their Godzilla vs. Destoroyah bandana features both creatures surrounded by flames is a bold statement piece that not only looks rad, but also features some seriously epic kaiju art.

Abominable Toys
To commemorate the sunsetting of the 70th Anniversary of Godzilla celebrations, the Platinum Godzilla Chomp toy was revealed by frequent Godzilla collaborator Abominable Toys. On Godzilla Day itself, AT revealed Series 1 of the Godzilla Frozen Culture Series, a nostalgic homage to the old freezer pops of famous film & TV characters you’d find at the ice cream van. For only 24 hours, anyone who bought an en tire case of this series had a chance to get an LE 255 Gold Godzilla Frozen Culture pin 3 pack. They were randomly inserted in qualifying orders at random, so if you received one in your order, consider yourself a lucky winner!

Dubbed the Sour Blue Razzilla, the drink promises to “Fuel like a king with 300mg of caffeine and an earth-shaking burst of electric tartness fused with berry sweetness.” The new flavor has been popping up in convenience stores across the country since its release yesterday on Godzilla Day, so if you’re looking for a new product to hunt for in stores, go look for this new flavor!

Handmade By Robots
Another vinyl company, Handmade by Robots announced two new Collector Edition figures on Godzilla Day, both featuring uniquely vibrant colors that stand out with colorful energy: Green Translucent Godzilla and Pink & Black Crackle Godzilla. The former is limited to 439 pieces, with the “Crackle” Godzilla being even more rare, being limited to just 379 pieces. HBR also added that each piece “uniquely designed to capture a different side of the King of the Monsters’ legacy – bold, radiant, and ready to stomp into your collection!”

Many of the classic Godzilla films are on the service to stream. On the physical media end, the Criterion Collection celebrates the King of the Monsters with the epic 14-film Showa Era Blu-ray collection boxset and the individual releases of Godzilla (1954) and Godzilla vs. Biollante (1989) on 4K UHD.
