When it was announced on June 6th, 2026, that the fan favorite blockbuster Godzilla arena fighter, Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, was getting a long awaited remaster, the Godzilla world roared with joy. And now today, fans were treated with a full new 90 second trailer showcasing the full roster, more gameplay, and the announcement of a demo of the game coming to steam on October 15th!
Revealed at GamesCom 2026, the trailer gives gameplay footage of each monster on the roster, which consists of Heisei Godzilla, Godzilla 2000, Anguirus, Megalon, Gigan, Rodan, King Ghidorah, Mecha King Ghidorah, Destoroyah, Kiryu, Orga, and of course, Showa MechaGodzilla! Each monster seems to retain a similar moveset to the original game, but we shall see what any changes are in core gameplay once the demo hits Steam on October 15th. So far, the visuals and art style seem to go for a modernized style of the original. It is definitely great that fans will get to play a demo in advance and get some preliminary thoughts on the game that can perhaps be addressed later in development if the game is live service.
