Exclusive: ‘Zarkorr! The Invader’ To Hold 30th Anniversary Screening, Kickstarter for Figures Launches Soon

Kaiju cult favorite Zarkorr! The Invader by director Michael Deak and Aaron Osborne is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year, and it’s not going to be held quietly. This year at G-FEST, a special screening courtesy of Full Moon Pictures will be held to celebrate the milestone, and it will be tonight (Friday July 10th) at 11PM CST. The screening will be held as part of the 2026 iteration of the G-FEST Film Festival, and is sponsored by internationally-recognized publicist Avery Guerra.

Additionally, Seismic Toys, known for their officially licensed figures from the Ultraman franchise and fellow cult favorite The Last Dinosaur, have announced their own licensed soft vinyl figure of Zarkorr, as well as companion kaiju Kraa from Kraa! The Sea Monster (1998). The two collectibles will be done as a Kickstarter campaign very soon, and Kaiju United has been exclusively provided the QR code to access the campaign that is on display at the Seismic Toys booth at the convention. Seismic Toys will also be attending the screening tonight, so if you have any questions about these upcoming figures, let them know after the movie ends!

In Zarkorr! The Invader, “an extraterrestrial race who challenge mankind by unleashing a giant monster called Zarkorr upon Earth. Notably, composer Richard Band, known for his extensive work in the horror genre on films such as From Beyond, Re-Animator, and TerrorVision, composed the score for Zarkorr.
