As cliche as it may sound, there will always be the eternal struggle of good and evil, light, and dark, yin and yang, or in this case the tiger and the dragon. If one side is more prominent and tips the scales so to speak unevenly it could cause an imbalance. And that’s not to say it’s only darkness that could cause imbalance, though most commonly used in fiction, light is just as capable.
