VIP Pass Required
Join us at Sake distillery Brooklyn Kura for the Ultraman themed VIP kick off party! Located in courtyard 5/6 of Industry City, it will feature a DJ and drink specials. Cosplayers are welcome! VIP package also includes access to both screenings, early access to the con, swagbag and more! It culminates in a screening of MEGA MONSTER BATTLE ULTRA GALAXY:THE MOVIE in the courtyard at 8pm!
The Return of Godzilla 40th Anniversary Screening
Join us for a very special 40th Anniversary screening of THE RETURN OF GODZILLA on the big screen! Bring your favorite lawn chair or blanket and watch this classic hard to find film under the stars. (This is the japanese version with subtitles) Preceded by a special “70 YEARS OF GODZILLA” panel on the stage before the screening by author and kaiju historian Kevin Derendof of Maser Patrol.
House of Ultraman
“The @roboseven (officially licensed) house of Ultraman will be a fun new addition to KB2! It will be in the courtyard of @japanvillagebrooklyn just outside the entrance and will host the first panel of the day featuring Robo7 and Ultraman Connection moderated by @kaijuunited at 11am! It will be adorned with the artwork of Robo7 as well as be the home base for our Tiga cosplayer @aaimztako for photo ops and such. We also plan on running episodes of Ultraman Tiga all day so you can go and hang out to watch your favorite episodes at any time! Make sure to take photos and tag us during the event! Costume Contest
“Our contest will be in the loft of @japanvillagebrooklyn at 4pm on 6/1. Show up in your costume and the book off employees will snap your picture on the red bridge. They will then post them on their Instagram page for a vote with the hashtag #seeyouonthebridge5 and #japanvillage along with your IG handle!”

A Tale of Two Godzillas
5PM – Barrows Intense Distillery
This panel will feature filmmaker @the.yoko.higuchi who worked on SHIN GODZILLA and FX Artist Will Caban who worked on GODZILLA 98. They will both talk about their experiences working on two very different Godzilla productions. Yoko has made dozens of short films such as EVERYDAY MAN and WOMANS WORLD and the upcoming feature CITIZEN KAHN. Will has been a practical fx artist on films such as THE DEPARTED, JOHN WICK 3, VANILLA SKY and so much more!
70 Years of Godzilla

Kaiju historian Kevin Derendorf breaks down the 70-year history of Godzilla and introduces the screening of The Return of Godzilla!
