In the GigaBash Arena, the fate of the entire world is in your hands. Will you choose to stand against evil, becoming the hero that the world is clamoring for? Or, will you ally yourself with the forces of evil, cementing yourself as wicked and vile, and crushing everything in your path? With the new Ultraman Zero DLC coming to GigaBash on July 9th, the choice will be yours to make, as the heroic Ultraman Zero and the nefarious Ultraman Belial will finally become playable. These two characters will make up the 9th overall DLC for the game, and join a stacked roster that already includes Godzilla, Destoroyah, Ultraman, and Gamera. For the fans who are curious, the designs featured in GigaBash are directly lifted from their debut appearance, 2009’s Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legends The Movie, in which Belial is finally freed from prison and wreaks havoc on the Land of Light.

Ultraman Zero
Starting off with our hero, Ultraman Zero is a proficient fighter from the Land of Light. A true hero who understands that power without justice is dangerous, UItraman Zero arrives in the GigaBash Arena with his iconic Zero Sluggers to help keep enemies at bay. For ranged attacks, Zero can fire off Emerium Slashes to pummel them at range, but villains beware, as if they get too close, his mastery of space martial arts will triumph over the forces of darkness. Maybe they can try again in 20,000 years!
Ultraman Belial
On the opposing side… Ultraman Belial awaits. For those who seek great power and vengeful pride, Ultraman Belial’s dangerous Giga Battlenizer is a true force to be reckoned with. Players will be able to take control of Belial and utterly eviscerate the enemy with dark fireballs, dominate them with the Belial Whip, and channel the Belial Genothunder to rend them asunder. The alien genes infused within this fallen Ultra give it fearsome abilities and strength to match the fury within. Nothing will stand in your way as you carry out your revenge against the Land of Light. Feel the power within you; the rage and hatred will bring you strength to do what many are afraid to do.

Additionally, you may face off against 8 random opponents and one final boss in the game’s arcade mode, something a bit more classic and nostalgic for the fighting game community, Story Mode, which just saw a new installment in the Final Ascension DLC, gives you the ultimate lore behind the Titans in four unique single-player campaigns. That’s just the single-player options!
