San Diego Comic-Con is next week, and we’ve got plenty of great announcements to kick the festivities off. After an initial reveal of their all-encompassing plans for the big show, Bandai has revealed eight free commemorative pins that fans can collect at the show by visiting the Godzilla booth and completing various quests. Each pin represents a figure in the new Godziburst line, a collectible and affordable wave of Godzilla figures with unique visuals and dynamic accessories. Kaiju United was provided the latest rundown on six of the eight pins that fans will be able to pick up at the show, with the last two being a surprise. One will be revealed by the Bandai social media channels (@bandaicollect), and the other is a complete mystery that can only be discovered in a pin trade with a Godzilla staff member.
There are some special other ways that fans can obtain pins, such as:
- Join the “Escape from Godzilla” photo op at the booth, while supplies last
- Take part in daily “Godzilla Games” at the booth, including Godzilla trivia, Name a Kaiju, and a Godzilla roar contest
- Watch for Bandai newsies on the convention floor who may be handing out free items, including Godziburst pins
There are eight total pins to collect, divided into three rarity tiers: Normal, Rare, and Epic. Normal and Rare pins will come in blind packaging and be distributed throughout the weekend, while one of the extremely limited Epic pins can be earned by winning select games at the booth. All pins are available only while supplies last. Fans can take part in the activities and collect these pins by heading to Booth #3345 at San Diego Comic-Con, happening July 23rd-26th next week.
