From the furthest reaches of the galaxy to the vast, desolate lands of the Deadzone…. kaiju have reigned supreme. As part of IDW’s new initiative of Godzilla comics, an entire new universe of Godzilla comics was forged, and now, it will finally culminate in a brand new miniseries titled Godzilla vs. Everything by writer Tim Seeley (Godzilla) and Fero Pe (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Godzilla). In this four-issue miniseries revealed at IGN Fan Fest, Godzilla will achieve its newest and most powerful form yet, forcing characters from Escape the Deadzone, Starship Godzilla, The Horror of Godzilla, and the current ongoing run (Godzilla) to assemble and (hopefully) defend humanity from the mighty King of the Monsters.

The official solicitation gives us a glimpse into this massive event:
From New York Times bestselling writer Tim Seeley and acclaimed artist Fero Pe comes GODZILLA VS EVERYTHING, the first four-issue crossover event from the celebrated Kai-Sei era line of comics at IDW Publishing. Since the Kai-Sei era made its unforgettable debut in 2025, everything in the connected universe of comics – GODZILLA, STARSHIP GODZILLA, DEADZONE, and THE HORROR OF GODZILLA – has been building up to this jaw-dropping blockbuster. Godzilla has achieved its most powerful form yet and has its sights set on destroying the world. Can the combined forces of Earth – and beyond – stop the King of the Monsters, or will Godzilla finally destroy the world?
This new announcement also comes with the confirmation that the 17th issue of the ongoing run will be its last, a surprise to many kaiju fans that have been following along with the Kai-Sei Universe. For those wanting to have the full story leading up to the crossover comic, things will kick off this Wednesday with Starship Godzilla: Invasion X and Revenge of the Deadzone on October 28th. A prelude to Godzilla vs. Everything will debut in that final 17th issue of the ongoing run.
IDW also provided IGN with a concept render of the new Godzilla design, which will no doubt have fans delighted at the clear homage to 1995’s Godzilla vs. Destoroyah.
